Jury Orders Monsanto to Pay Over $2 Billion to California Couple

Bayer AG, owner of the biotech corporation Monsanto, was ordered to pay $2.055 billion to a California couple who both developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma after decades of using the weedkiller Roundup on their properties.  This is the third trial resulting in a jury verdict against Monsanto in California.
